St. Vinzenz Hospital - Fire protection from a professional

The Sankt Vinzenz Hospital in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, part of the Katholische Hospitalvereinigung Ostwestfalen gGmbH, is a general primary care hospital. Every year, the dedicated team treats more than 6,000 patients. Since its foundation in 1849, the hospital has stood for the highest quality in diagnostics and therapy.

The hospital attaches just as much importance to the safety of staff, visitors and patients. Fire protection is a central component of this - in particular fire prevention, rapid firefighting and the safe evacuation of the building in the event of an emergency.

The Bielefeld branch of CWS Fire Safety GmbH supports the hospital with comprehensive expertise and reliable services. The team's tasks include regular maintenance of the fire extinguishers to ensure their functionality in the event of an emergency. These play a crucial role in preventing the spread of fire at an early stage.

The fire protection experts also take care of the maintenance of hold-open systems and automatic doors, which are of great importance in the event of a fire. In everyday life, hold-open systems ensure that fire and smoke protection doors remain open and do not present any barriers. Following completion of the work, the stairwell now meets the requirements of fire resistance class T30 and guarantees significantly increased protection in the event of a fire.
