Compliance HelpLine

Let’s work together to protect our values.

Entrepreneurial conduct, which is always guided by ethical principles, forms part of the CWS Group’s core corporate philosophy. We have set out these principles, which are binding on all CWS employees, in our Code of Ethics. We take responsibility beyond the requirements of the law. We are constantly developing measures to ensure, in the long term, that employees and business partners are familiar with our compliance principles and act in accordance with them.

It is a shared responsibility for the company and its employees to comply with all applicable rules and regulations at all times. To promote a culture of compliance both within and beyond our corporate boundaries, CWS offers a global Compliance HelpLine, which is available to all internal and external stakeholders.

The CWS Compliance HelpLine enables suppliers and customers to report, in confidence, any irregular or unethical behaviour, as well as compliance breaches.

How does the Compliance HelpLine work?

The Compliance HelpLine ensures that the person making the report and their identity remain anonymous – if they so wish – and are therefore protected at all times. There is no direct contact between the person making the report and the platform provider or CWS. The report is submitted either online as a text message or by telephone via a voice recording. CWS does not receive the original audio recordings, but only a transcript. The information received is reviewed within the company. Further communication takes place (anonymously) via the platform. Using a case number, the person making the report can check the status of the case at any time. The Compliance Helpline is available here 24/7, 365 days a year!

CWS is committed to preventing and minimising risks of human rights due diligence breaches within its supply chains and, in the event of a breach, to taking active measures to address it. In this context, please find attached our Human Rights Statement.
