Fire extinguishers for greater safety at headquarters
In 2023, geoCapture commissioned the CWS Fire Safety branch in Münster to equip the company headquarters with new fire extinguishers. After a careful analysis of the structural conditions, potential fire risks and work processes, nine foam extinguishers and one CO2 fire extinguisher were professionally installed at the identified danger points. In addition, standard-compliant signage was installed for all fire extinguishers - for clear orientation in the event of an emergency and maximum safety for employees and guests.
Reliable maintenance for long-term operational readiness
Two years after the initial installation, the first legally required maintenance of the fire extinguishers took place in summer 2025. According to DIN 14406-4, portable fire extinguishers must be checked every two years by a certified specialist company to ensure they are fully functional.
The CWS Fire Safety team took a close look at all the devices on site. The focus of the inspection was on functionality, leaks, possible damage and the fill level. The maintenance went smoothly and without interrupting ongoing operations. geoCapture therefore not only meets all legal requirements, but also ensures that the fire extinguishers remain ready for use at all times - for maximum safety in the event of an emergency.
