Smoke Protection Pressure System / SÜLA® System
Smoke Protection Pressure System - Consultation, Installation & Maintenance
A smoke protection pressure system (SPPS), also known as a SÜLA® system / safety overpressure ventilation system, prevents smoke from entering defined areas.
A smoke protection pressure system is a special blower that pushes large volumes of air into individual areas of a building. It is triggered either via smoke detectors or by using the emergency release button. When triggered, the smoke protection pressure system generates an overpressure of 15-50 Pa (Pascal). This prevents smoke from spreading into the escape and rescue routes. The smoke protection pressure system also has an electrical control system with emergency power supply or sprinkler interlock.
Areas of application for a smoke protection pressure system
Smoke protection pressure systems / SÜLA® systems are primarily used in safety-critical areas. These include escape and rescue routes such as stairwells, escape tunnels, and fire brigade lifts. These must remain free of smoke in the event of a fire.
Maintenance of a smoke protection pressure system
A smoke protection pressure system / SÜLA® system must be serviced annually by a qualified person.
All-inclusive package: We will be happy to advise you on the use of smoke protection pressure systems, install them, and prepare them for acceptance testing. We are also happy to carry out the annual maintenance of your smoke protection pressure system. Please feel free to contact us.
