Mobile Fire Extinguishers

Mobile fire extinguishers are used wherever there is an increased risk of fire or where larger objects need to be protected – for example in industrial plants, warehouses, workshops, airports, or parking garages. They have significantly larger extinguishing agent volumes than portable models and are equipped with particularly powerful nozzles. This allows incipient fires to be fought faster, more precisely, and more effectively.

Despite their large extinguishing agent volume, mobile fire extinguishers are easy to move. A sturdy chassis, solid rubber tires, and thoughtful design ensure comfortable handling. From a weight of 50 kg, we recommend that the units be transported by two people.

Variants of mobile fire extinguishers

• Foam extinguisher (fluorine-free), 50 L – suitable for fire classes A and B (solid materials and flammable liquids)

• Powder extinguisher, 30 kg and 50 kg – suitable for fire classes A, B, and C (solids, liquids, and gases)

• CO₂ extinguisher, 10 kg, 30 kg, and 60 kg – suitable for fire class B (mainly for indoor use; effectiveness outdoors is limited due to wind sensitivity)

Tested safety and standards compliance

All mobile fire extinguishers from CWS Fire Safety are available as stored-pressure or cartridge-operated extinguishers. They meet the highest quality and safety standards and are officially tested to DIN EN 1866, GS, and CE.

Commissioning and maintenance by our experts

Commissioning must be carried out in accordance with the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) or by an approved monitoring body (ZÜS). Our experts at CWS Fire Safety handle this professionally and reliably for you.

Regular maintenance is also crucial for functional reliability: mobile fire extinguishers must be inspected by a qualified person at least every two years, in the same way as portable models.
