Mechanical Smoke and Heat Extraction System (MSHE System)
Mechanical Smoke and Heat Extraction System - Consultation, Installation & Maintenance
Mechanical smoke and heat extraction systems (MSHE systems) are installed in interior rooms, i.e. in rooms where an adequate opening to the outside cannot be installed. MSHE systems can be found, for example, in basements, underground parking garages, retail spaces, or assembly venues.
How Mechanical Smoke and Heat Extraction Systems Work
The MSHE system is connected to mechanical ventilation as well as smoke extraction fans. Heat and smoke are directed outside through ventilation ducts. At the same time, the mechanical smoke and heat extraction system ensures that fresh air is introduced into the building through other openings or supply air fans (air exchange). The smoke extraction fan can be installed on the roof, on a wall, or in a ventilation duct.
Maintenance of Mechanical Smoke and Heat Extraction Systems
Mechanical smoke and heat extraction systems must be maintained annually by a qualified specialist. In addition, the operator is required to carry out a visual inspection once a year.
All-inclusive package: We plan and install mechanical smoke and heat extraction systems and prepare the acceptance inspection by an expert. We are then happy to take over the annual maintenance of your MSHE system. Feel free to request a quote.
Sustainability
Mechanical smoke extraction systems stabilize the building structure by reducing the heat load within the building.
Advantages
Low-smoke rooms achievable in a short time
Smoke extraction fans ensure the safe removal of toxic smoke
Air exchange for interior areas of the building
Alternative for buildings where skylights or natural smoke extraction systems are not possible
