Malte Pohl became Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CWS Fire Safety GmbH on September 1, 2026. Together with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Kamal Kumar, he has assumed leadership of the company. In his new role, the experienced executive is responsible in particular for operations and sales.
Malte Pohl has over 18 years of experience in the fire protection industry. Most recently, he was a member of the executive management team at Minimax GmbH, a leading global provider of fire protection solutions. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic and digital development of the end-customer business and held profit-and-loss responsibility for the service division, which comprises around 1,000 employees. Previously, he held various leadership positions involving both strategic and operational responsibilities and led numerous growth and transformation initiatives.
